Nature Center at Shaker Lakes
During the fall of 2007 Building Bridges worked on a mural for the Stewardship Center at the Shaker Lakes Nature Center. The Stewardship Center is a strawbale and cob construction designed and built by architect Susan Clellen. Building Bridges was invited into this project to create murals from visioning workshops with community members and board members during summer 2007. From the charettes common themes were brought forward to be included in the designs of a mural for the inside wall of the stewardship Center.
